Keeping up with the constantly changing world of social media can be quite the challenge so here’s some of the latest news to keep you in the know.
The New Twitter
The new version of Twitter will be coming out over the next few weeks and some of you might see changes on your Twitter site already. One of the big changes is that you’ll be able to integrate multimedia into the stream and rumor has it that the new look is a tad more like Facebook.
Official Twitter Button
The new official Tweet Button makes it easier for users to count retweets and share content.
“…we’re launching the Tweet Button to make sharing simple. It lets you share links directly from the page you’re on. When you click on the Tweet Button, a Tweet box will appear — pre-populated with a shortened link that points to the item that you’re sharing.”

Google’s social network may not be coming out by the end of 2010. However some of the social components will probably be added to other areas of Google.
The New Digg
Digg has recently gone through a complete overhaul which you’ll notice from the beginning when you first sign in as your welcome page has changed to “Welcome to My News.”
Bing and Facebook
Facebook and Microsoft are apparently in discussions regarding an agreement that would expand the search relationship so that the Bing search service could utilize anonymized data from consumer usage of Facebook’s recently introduced Like buttons.
