As businesses plan to boost their marketing budgets this year, it is increasingly becoming clear that cross-media initiatives will define the year's most successful campaigns. What's more, consumers are becoming more adept at recognizing marketing initiatives, forcing companies to continue to evolve their strategies.
To address these challenges, the Vision 3 Summit will be held from March 13 to 16 in Palm Desert, California, according to WhatTheyThink.com. The event will host leading graphic design, print, advertising and other marketing professionals to discuss the growing importance of cross-media marketing in a multichannel media world.
"Getting the message out on print is no longer enough to attract the attention of today's discerning consumer. As a result, graphic communications providers must know how to customize and implement cross-media marketing campaigns for their clients – campaigns that will deliver maximum impact for the investment dollars put into them," said Joseph P. Truncale, president and CEO of the National Association for Printing Leadership.
A survey released this week by BtoB magazine confirms the sense of urgency that has characterized the industry, finding more than half of respondents plan to boost their marketing budgets in 2011.
