The 4^th and final quarter of 2011 begins this week. Time to rev up those marketing engines. For many, this is the time of year for achieving profitability. Football season is gearing up. Baseball season is winding down. It’s that transitional period signaling the onset of autumn. Fall officially begins September 22, 10:49 A.M. EDT so be on the lookout for those brilliantly colored leaves that look so beautiful on someone else’s front lawn. (And remember to clear them out of your rain gutters before winter!)

A decade has passed since the dreadful events of 9-11-01 and many people spent last Sunday commemorating the heroic actions of people in public service and ordinary citizens alike. So many lives were forever changed in so very few historic minutes. We hope that all those who were in need found solace in the outpouring of compassion expressed in ceremonies held throughout the country and on television.

Everyone loves a short work-week, right? Okay, maybe it just means that we have to squeeze five days worth of tasks into four days. Here in So Cal, we’re happy to report that we survived “Carmageddon.” The roads were open for us to get back to the office in plenty of time to provide you with the next fresh batch of marketing expertise and design inspiration.

Knee deep in July, we donned our wide brimmed hats and went for a stroll outside to breathe in some inspiration and soak up some Vitamin D.
