Thanks for the great reminder on how to get our name & identity out there to the public. People often forget that they need to network at parties and public events.

Great article, I’ll certainly be implementing at least a few of these tips. One MAJOR point to keep in mind, DO NOT do (half) of #7… unless you like committing federal offenses (oops). It is illegal to open someone else’s mailbox. You CAN, however, tape them to mailboxes though. Opening it is considered tampering with mail.

Thanks for sharing some creative marketing ideas. However, as a former Postal employee, I must remind you that it is still illegal for anyone other than a USPS letter carrier to place anything in a mailbox. Personally, I don’t agree with this law. However, the result of marketing on your own in this manner is often that upon finding unaurhorized material in the mail box the carrier will yank said materials out, often dumping them on the ground. Ouch. Sad but true.

Although I would’ve desired if you went into a little bit more detail, I still got the essence of what you meant. I agree with it. It might not be a great idea, but it makes sense. Will definitely come back for more of this.

Tip 7 is not legal at all. Placing adverts in or on mailboxes is a federal offense and leaving adverts on peoples property is considered vandalism and/or littering.
